Copper Mountain Resort -
Copper Mountain Resort, which is Summit County’s largest ski area, has
over 125 trails, 2,450 skiable acres, 4 bowls, 4 mountains, 280” average
snowfall, 2,601’ vertical drop, the longest run is 2.8 miles and 22 lifts.
The 22 lifts are composed of 1 high-speed six-passenger chairlift, 4 high-speed
quad chairlifts, 5 triple chairlifts, 5 double chairlifts, 2 surface lifts,
4 conveyer lifts and 1 tubing lift. Copper Mountain also offers a Terrain Park
and two Halfpipes. Lift hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. The area’s
free local shuttle runs from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Never ever (beginner) adult lessons meet at the Union Creek base at the West
end of the base village. Use the shuttle from the main and East villages
to get to Union Creek. Lessons begin at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
